CleanScan Pro provides GPS-verified proof-of-service software for commercial cleaning companies. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights.
Information we collect
When cleaners check in, we collect their GPS location at check-in and check-out, optional photos, and an optional cleaner name. When you create an account, we store your email and company details. Cleaners do not create accounts.
Precise geolocation
We query your browser's GPS at check-in and check-out solely to verify the cleaner is within the site's geofence. We do not track cleaners' movements between or after jobs. If GPS is unavailable, a manual check-in can be recorded and is flagged as unverified.
How we use your data
We use location and photo data to generate proof-of-service reports you send to your clients. We use your email to authenticate your account and send billing and trial notifications.
Data retention
Job records (GPS, photos, reports) are kept for as long as your account is active. Photos may contain embedded metadata such as EXIF data and capture timestamps, which we store as captured. You can delete individual jobs or export and delete all company data from Settings at any time.
Third-party services
We use Stripe for payment processing, OpenStreetMap for map tiles and address geocoding, and Base44 for file storage and application hosting. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.
Cleaner notice
Cleaners access the app through a shared company code and do not create individual accounts. Because we collect cleaners' location at check-in and check-out, the employer company is responsible for informing its workers about this location tracking and obtaining any consents required by local law.
Who can see your data
Only the account owner and users they invite can access company data. Cleaners see only the active job they are working on. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Your rights
You can export or delete all your company data from Settings. To exercise additional rights under GDPR or CCPA, contact support@cleanscanpro.com.
